Environmental Protection and Renewable Energy Promotion

To promote climate change adaptability, environmental protection, and renewable energy solutions that improve the livelihoods and resilience of peri-urban and rural communities.

Target Reach
  • Trained 447 youth (161 female) in solar installation and 256 women in biogas development.
  • Supported 1,100+ off-grid rural households to access renewable energy through solar PV systems and biogas solutions.
  • Installed solar energy systems in 20+ public institutions, including schools and health centers, improving service delivery and reducing energy costs.
  • Delivered environmental education on climate change, climate-smart agriculture, waste management, water and soil conservation, and renewable energy to 69,300+ community members.
Approach

We combine community-centered environmental conservation with practical renewable energy interventions. Our approach focuses on building youth skills in solar technology, expanding renewable energy access for off-grid communities, supporting climate-smart agriculture, and strengthening local institutions through sustainable energy solutions. We also promote long-term ecosystem health through recycling, agroforestry, and environmental restoration initiatives.
