To advance gender equality and empower adolescent girls and women through social, economic, and leadership development opportunities
Key Achievements
- Improved economic opportunities for nearly 43,040 women and girls through SHGs, VSLAs, financial literacy, and enterprise support.
- Reached over 34,670 adolescent girls through SRH education, life skills, and prevention of harmful traditional practices
- Supported 11,790 GBV survivors through psychosocial support, dignity kits, legal referrals, safe spaces, and livelihood assistance.
- Trained 256 women in biogas technology and clean energy solutions and facilitated the installation of 13 biogas systems.
Approach
ESD applies a gender-transformative approach that integrates awareness creation, economic empowerment, protection services, leadership development, and community engagement.
