Youth Skill Development and Job Creation
To enhance vocational, entrepreneurial, business, and life skills among unemployed and/or underemployed youth and facilitate their access to sustainable, market-based employment opportunities and decent livelihoods.
Target Reach
- Trained 7,800+ youth (60% female) in market-oriented sectors, including construction, food processing, hospitality, agriculture, tailoring, solar technology, and beauty salon.
- Linked trained youth to financial services, startup capital, cooperatives, self-employment opportunities, and ongoing mentoring and coaching networks.
Approach
We implement market-driven, hands-on training programs through community and skill hubs, combining vocational courses, entrepreneurship mentoring, and business incubation support. Our approach also includes partnerships with local businesses and stakeholders to link youth directly to job placements and market opportunities.
