Humanitarian Response
To reduce vulnerability and risks for emergency-affected individuals and families by providing effective, timely, and comprehensive humanitarian assistance, ensuring protection, basic needs, and access to essential services.
Targe Reach
- Assisted 12,600+ IDPs, returnees, and host community members (70% women and girls) with protection, WASH, emergency cash, and nutrition services.
- Supported 3,700+ conflict affected individuals with livelihood recovery initiatives.
- Reached 11,790 GBV survivors with dignity kits, psychosocial support, cash assistance, legal aid, safe spaces, and strengthened PSEA mechanisms.
- Constructed and furnished five classroom blocks in five refugee- and IDP-hosting schools, expanding access to safe and conducive learning environments.
- Improved access to safe and inclusive primary education for over 4,000 displaced and out-of-school children in IDP and refugee camps through Accelerated School Readiness (ASR) and Accelerated Learning Programs (ALP), enabling them to successfully transition into the formal public school system.
- Strengthened 224 teachers’ recruitment, retention, and professional development, supporting refugee and IDP teacher integration and benefiting 24,984 schoolchildren across seven learning centers.

Approach
We deliver multi-sectoral humanitarian interventions in both conflict- and climate-affected settings, including IDPs, refugees, returnees, and host communities. Our approach integrates:
- Protection services to safeguard vulnerable groups, including children, women, and persons with disabilities.
- Food and non-food assistance to meet immediate survival needs.
- Education in emergencies to ensure continued learning for children and youth despite displacement (Accelerated School Readiness (ASR) and Accelerated Learning programs (ALP)).
- WASH and environmental programs to provide safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and climate-resilient environmental support.
- Skills training and livelihood support for youth and women
- Community-based engagement to ensure interventions are context-sensitive, inclusive, and sustainable.
